Tensilite® Titanium Valve Blanks
Kibblewhite® Tensilite® titanium
valves are manufactured from
solid U.S. milled titanium bar. The
titanium bar is cut, and forged, and
then the stem is pulled from the
forging process and cross-sectionally
reduced.
These one piece forgings made
from 6AL4V or 6-2-4-2 titanium alloy
re昀氀ect the latest developments in
titanium valve alloys. These alloys
have superior hardness, strength, and
thermal characteristics.
After 昀椀nal grinding and machining,
Tensilite® valves are encased in a
hard Chromium Nitride (CrN) shell.
CrN o昀昀ers excellent resistance to
impact, abrasion and corrosion.
These qualities and its low coe昀케cient
of friction make CrN the coating of
choice for high performance titanium
valves.

We fully CNC machine our White
Diamond® Valves from a one-piece
forging of either EV8 Stainless Steel
or Inconel-751. These materials have
proven heat and corrosion resistance
properties and are hard chromed with
a 360 degree anode to produce the
highest possible grade of hard chrome
昀椀nish.
