KPMI® Tensilite® titanium valves are one piece forgings made from 6-2-4-2 titanium alloy. These are the latest developments in titanium valve alloys and have
superior hardness, strength, and thermal characteristics when compared to other titanium valve alloys. Tensilite® valves are covered with a chromium nitride
(CRN) PVD coating. This coating adheres exceptionally well to titanium, has a low coe昀케cient of friction, and is impact, abrasion, and corrosion resistant.
** Inconel® is classi昀椀ed as a “Super Alloy”, meaning that it is designed to survive under the most extreme temperatures and pressures where other valves will
begin to burn, corrode, or completely fail. This is the material of choice for high output engines running turbos, superchargers, nitromethane, or nitrous.

KPMI® Cylinder Studs are made from 180,000 psi yield strength, 昀椀ne grain, heat treated, aircraft grade alloy steel. When you want a stud that meets proof-stress and
maximizes clamping force, look no further. KPMI® “rolls” the threads, heat treats and then centerless grinds the entire body of the stud. Rolling the threads creates the
toughest and strongest thread possible and centerless grinding removes notch sensitivity. The 昀椀nal process for all KPMI® Studs is to encase the entire stud with premium
